Update.
The LAPD guys were through one of her coworkers. I have never gotten to speak with them or had any contact with them. They were always a 'it'd be cool if they show up, but we'll see' kinda thing.

Well. turns out they aren't coming soooo.... the game is much more authentic now. Pretty much it's the OG (you're all OG'ers), the hitmen, and guests against the recballers.

Even without the 10 lapd folks, we're still in the mid 30's, plus guests. We'll still whoop'em.

We can always recruit a few more people. How many spots do we need to fill to reach 40?

I was talking to the owner of the field on the phone. The day of the event we DON'T have to sign up as part of the private group when we pay for admission. This way, we won't tip off the opforce to the size of the force that we are assembling.

Show up, pay for admission like normal, and when you pay for admission just like a regular walk-on, tell them that you will come back to purchase your paint after you set up. (They are going to try to make you buy field paint there... but don't worry, we can use our own outside paint).

Up top, we can setup in anonymity, apart from the hospital people, and then when we are all set up and geared up, we can go over to have a captains meeting with the opforce, and that's when they'll be made aware of the force that's coming against them.

Then we'll be wrapped into their private group up there.

Olive View hospital got 2 more folks, so they are up to 10 now. We should be pretty close to 40, but still if you have a friend or two who would like to come trout, they're more than welcome. Worst case,there are 1 or 2 extra people that rotate in every other game, which is no biggy.

Also, if we are just thumping these guys, I'm going to put my marker away and spend the majority of the day videotaping then. I know my friend is going to go do some taping... but he was saying that he's just going to stay on the sidelines and tape... which is worthless.

You HAVE to get right in the middle of the firefights like an imbedded war reporter for any type of really good footage to cut together.

I you have some friends who'd want to come... even though they might not be in ever single game... they are more than welcome.

Well... I now officially have 0% fear of the other team having found any of these postings, or having any idea whatsoever about what's going on.

They just sent my wife's coworker a messageto see if she could find out how many people her team would have... and how many of them would need rental gear.

Call me crazy.... but I doubt they'd need to answer those questions if they had seen any of the threads online about this game heh.

I almost feel guilty about setting up an ambush of this magnitude.... almost.



Oh.... and they also told her yet again, that they are going to kick all of our butts.

Another update....
My wife and her coworkers will be bringing over a bunch of buffalo wings and some alcohol (not sure what kind or how much) to the after-party, to go with the pizzas.

Besides the beer that Hallak is bringing, this is a byob after party!

I figure we can all pitch in a few bucks each for pizza... They are $5 each at little ceasars just down the street!

Hallak, I say just bring a case of bud light or coors light... Cheap & easy (just like most women!) Lol
